This 40-hour course prepares technicians for the EPA Refrigerant Transi-tion and Recovery Certification Exam. A minimum of two years of experi-ence in the field of Heating, Ventilation and AC is recommended. The 300-hour HVAC program is more suitable for those requiring training. Cost of exam is included in tuition.

Students in this course will come away with a good basic understanding of how the forklift functions, how to operate a forklift according to OSHA regulations and how load handling affects the stability of the forklift. Successful completers will be eligible to become forklift certified.
Many employers require staff to be experienced on the forklift used at their site in order for the employee to become a certified forklift operator. Candidates are asked to provide this information when registering for the course. Please contact our office to schedule a class.

This 10-hour course is typically for entry level workers and will provide training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a com-plaint.

The 8-hour PEC safety course incudes both SafeLandUSA and SafeGulf and gives the student a general idea of life and safety issues in the oil and gas industry, onshore and offshore. Instruction consists of general safety information that an employee should know before entering a com-pany facility and while performing their assigned work duties.

Forbes offers an eight-hour class with eight hours of home study food safety training and in-class testing. In addition, professional food han-dlers can choose to take the eight-hour home study course and in-class testing. ServSafe Essentials textbook and exam answer sheet will be made available to the student at least one week prior to in-class training or exam. Pre-registration is required.
